She joined the Company as Quality Assurance Manager in 2002 and tasked to set up and implement company’s Quality Management System and assumed the role of Internal Lead Quality Auditor for the company from 2002 to 2005.
Since 2005, she has been directly involved as Project Head for various major projects undertaken by the company such as the Design and Construction of Kompleks Penjara Baru Bentong, the Design and Construction of UniKL Pasir Gudang, Upgrading of Kompleks Dayabumi and Upgrading and Renovation of Bangunan Parlimen Malaysia. She also assumed other key positions in the company, as General Manager overseeing several support departments such as Administration, Human Resources and Quality, Safety and Health (QSH).
Her career began in an IT company in 1994 as a Sales Engineer. She then moved to Airod Sdn Bhd as a Planning Engineer in 1995 mostly for the maintenance of USAF C130 fleet and Boeing 737 checks. She then joined Pesaka Gammon in 1996 as a Site Planning and QC Engineer. This was when her career in construction industry started. In 1997, she worked as a QA Engineer at Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd and was based on site in Putrajaya until 2002. There she was involved in the construction and completion several roadworks and government buildings in the then new Putrajaya township.
She holds an American Associate Degree in Applied Science from Kolej Persediaan Pengajian Mara, Subang Jaya and a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, New York, United States with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Open University Malaysia (OUM).
Hoo Yen Tong was appointed as a Chief Operating Officer on 1st May 2024. He joined the Company as a Project Engineer in 2001. He has since been directly involved in various projects undertaken by the Company and has assumed key positions such as Project Manager, Project Coordinator and Project Director.He graduated from the Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He then pursued his career in Malaysia as an Assistant Resident Engineer at Berakah Jurutera Perunding Sdn Bhd in 1993 and subsequently joined Engineering & Environmental Consultants Sdn Bhd in 1997 (KLIA project – Involved in Packages RA 03 , 04, and 05 which involved in the construction of slotted drain, U-drain, tunnel extension , flexible pavement works for various access roads and taxiways , rigid pavement for air craft parking apron and various others tasks including necessary coordination during handing over, Airport Opening and accommodate initial necessary maintenance and defects rectification while airport in operation).
His involvement in various projects throughout the 19 years with the company, boosted his career as a key person which managing the construction of all the major Infrastructure, government quarters and residential projects in Putrajaya and others projects within the Klang Valley from 2001 to 2019.
Amongst of the mega projects that he personally handled were MRT Line 1 Sg.Buloh Depot (RM 458M), Elevated Stations (RM 283M – Sg.Buloh ,Kg.Selamat and Kwasa Damansara Station),Pasar Seni Paid Link (RM103M) and MRT Line 2, Serdang Maintenance Depot (RM 348M).
His success in handling mega projects, has been attributed in part to his position as a Project Director for Light Rail Transit (LRT3) Johan Setia Depot, a project worth of RM536M.
Mahathir Bin Mokhtar started his career in 1999 with Perunding Unikon, the Quantity Surveyor and Project Consultant firm as a Quantity Surveyor and after 1 year he joined Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd (TRC) in November 2000 as a Project Quantity Surveyor. He graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) with a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and pursued a Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons) from the same university. He is a certified Professional Technologist registered with Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT).
Over the last 21 years with the Company, Mahathir was instrumental in delivering successful construction projects in various categories such as roads and bridges, prison and security complexes, commercial development and buildings for higher institution clientele. His well-established experience and strong credibility have brought further achievements in specialist project categories such as road and bridges in Putrajaya, Bentong Prison in Pahang, UniKL in pasir Gudang in Johor, and airport development projects for Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bharu Airport Extension of Runway.
Since 2011, Mahathir has directly involved in rail and metro transit infrastructure construction of viaduct guideways and stations for LRT2 (Kelana Jaya Line), MRT Line 1 (SBK) and MRT Line 2 (SSP) projects. He also overseeing the contract administration for the heavy maintenance depot projects at Sungai Buloh (SBK), depot in Serdang (SSP) and depot for the LRT3 project at Johan Setia, Klang, Selangor. Haikal Bin Md Zain has joined the Company in April 2007 and was appointed as a Project Manager. He has 26 years of extensive experiences in structural engineering works covering high rise buildings, institutional buildings, infrastructure works and airport projects.
He graduated from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1996 with a Bachelor in Civil Engineering and is member to Board of Engineer Malaysia. He was involved in several projects such as the Modernization of Brunei International Airport Terminal, Projek Mass Rapid Transit Laluan 2 (MRT2): Sungai Buloh – Serdang – Putrajaya (SSP) Package V205, Construction and Completion of Pasar Seni Linkway and Other Associated Works between Pasar Seni LRT Station and Kuala Lumpur KTMB, Upgrading and Rehabilitation of Parliament House (Phase 2B) and more.
During his more than 10 years involvement in LRT and MRT project, he basically carried out overall project management and day to day operation of the project. Managing the practicality of the design and suitability of machinery for the project. Managing the timeline as per contract and deployed optimum quantity of supervision personnel and manpower required for the project. Managing the cost of project as per project budget and venture for a new material or machinery that can save time and cost to the project. As the viaduct works is in lateral manner, he also oversees the traffic management plan and implementation and all the temporary works required to the project including ensure proper design carried out and approved prior to start works. Upon graduation he started his career as a Site Engineer at Jalur Mercu Tuah Sdn Bhd for KL Sentral Station project and then proceeded to join TRC in the year 2003. Some of his notable experiences are the involvement in Senai airport Tower and also the building of Bangunan Parlimen Malaysia Phase 2A and 2B as a Construction Manager.
His vast experience also includes the development of Kompleks Dayabumi in Kuala Lumpur and the building of Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) in Johor Bahru. His expertise also includes Residential projects as he had completed four residential projects worth millions within several years. Currently he is handling a mix development project in Putrajaya which comprises of high-rise hotels, residentials, convention centre, retails and infrastructure facilities.
Apart from being appointed as a current Project Coordinator, he also holds the position in the Management Team as the General Manager for Constructions, a designation he held from October 2018 up till now.

Before joining TRC, he worked with Malaysian Industrial Development Finance (MIDF) as a credit officer.
Since joining TRC, he has been responsible for and managed TRC and TRC-related groups of companies’ finances and project accounts either locally or overseas, including raising banking facilities for all projects. Abdul Aziz Bin Mohamed joined the Group as Company Secretary in April 2002 and has since held that position. Prior to contributing his services to the Group, his career began in 1996 during which he was reading in the chambers of Messrs Hisham, Sobri & Kadir (Advocates & Solicitors).
